little gold was officially born in August 2021 (though its founders; Des and Sierra, had talked about this type of venue since moving back to Newport in 2018). We both love to host our family and friends and care deeply about creating an experience that feels special and sacred to all involved.

When we planned our wedding beginning in January 2020, we were privy to a much more holistic understanding of the events industry, particularly in Rhode Island. We were lucky to work with some of the best in the business from planning/coordination to photography and beauty. Coupled with the pandemic and a renewed focus for us all on smaller circles and safety, we knew that a furnished, smaller square footage venue could fill a hole that was missing from this incredible community.
