What is the capacity for the space?

Our maximum guest count is 45. However, we feel that 35 and fewer is the sweet spot with plenty of space for your guests to move around, grab a drink and mingle.

How long is my rental?

Rentals are based on a 5-hour minimum including set-up and clean-up time. If our schedule allows we are happy to offer additional time at an hourly rate.   

Can I / my caterer cook at little gold? 

Our prep space is designed for organizing food and beverages that have been prepared prior to arrival. Please ask us for our vendor list for a variety of options that you and your guests will love. 

How does my rental work? 

little gold is meant to be as hands off as you’d like it. We will send you welcome information with clear directions regarding arrival and departure and are available by text/phone the day of your event. We’ll make sure everything is perfect before you arrive but we don’t need to check you in or out. You can decide how to use the space  and you have the freedom to set-up and make yourself at home.

Can I play music at little gold?

Yes! We have a Bose speaker that will connect to any device via Bluetooth to allow you control of the playlist. We ask that you monitor the volume to be respectful of our Franklin Street neighbors.  

What type of clean up is expected?

We ask that you leave the space as you found it. All food and any items brought in must be removed at the end of the event. Trash should be bagged and placed in the large green receptacle outside the back door. Any dishes used should be washed, dried and put away. The cleaning fee covers a thorough vacuum, surfaces and all disposable goods included (trash bags, paper towels, hand towels, etc.)

 Is your venue child friendly ? Is it pet friendly?

We are an adult curated space and are not childproof (i.e. we have sharp edges and heavy objects). Invite kids at your own discretion.

Though we all love pets, they are not permitted. 

I’m a creative that wants to host a (flower arranging, charcuterie board building, etc.) workshop/class…can I use little gold?

Yes! Our space is designed to allow creatives of all sorts to rent the space and use it to share their passion and expertise with our community. 

Can you help me plan my event? 

We can certainly provide suggestions and thoughts on partners based on what has worked in the past but we are not an event planning company. That being said, we are happy to communicate with any event planners, catering staff or rental companies to ensure your event goes off without a hitch!

Do I need to bring in furniture? Glassware, etc?

Our space is fully furnished and stocked with anything you may need for a small event. We have a mix and match set of dishes, glasses and flatware for 15 guests. Please ask us for an inventory list to ensure we have enough for your event. In terms of furniture, we don’t suggest bringing anything as the space would become too crowded.
